Supporting responsible firearm ownership for 75 years

14 position covered firing line

Stable cement firing positions under cover on the rifle side of the range.

50, 100, 200, and 300 yard berms

Solid earthen berms provide a safe backstop for target shooting out to 300 yards on the rifle side, with wooden target backers and steel target stands.

The heated clubhouse and adjacent 25 yard pistol range.

75th Anniversary BBQ

MUST RESPOND BY SEPT. 2 FOR FOOD PLANNING PURPOSES.


The date of the GFRC 75th Anniversary BBQ has been set for Saturday,   September 13 @ noon.  


Please respond to secretary@greatfarmrifleclub.com if you plan to attend.  


The meal for members-plus 1 will be paid for by the club.  There will be a $16 fee for any other family members or guests, which we must know of by August 27th.


 The menu, catered by Mat Weaver, is BBQ chicken breast, salads, beans, rolls, drinks and assorted deserts. No alcohol is allowed.

.22CAL FUN SHOOT @ BBQ

The rules/details of the BBQ .22 cal competitive fun shoot are as follows:

-All Range Rules apply

-Run/coordinated by member Guy Parsons/Jeff Wilson

-bring your own .22 rifle and ammo (some Ammo will be avail.)

-2 categories....open sights @ 25 yards and scope @ 50 yards

>Each target has to be hit to add score

(Know your limits/shoot until you don't think you can hit the next one)

>If you hit the target, you must advance or stop

>If you stop, you retain that score, but if you miss you forfeit all point for that round

>You will have 8 targets arranged from 2" to 1/4"

>If you miss that round is zero points, if you stop after any amount of hits, you receive a score that is totaled

>There will be 3 rounds, each round will score 10 points per target.

>Sand bags & bi-pods allowed but no machine rests or back rests.

*There will be two sets of kyl targets and Long Gong targets will be set up for those interested in trying them after the competition is completed.
