14 position covered firing line

Stable cement firing positions under cover on the rifle side of the range.

50, 100, 200, and 300 yard berms

Solid earthen berms provide a safe backstop for target shooting out to 300 yards on the rifle side, with wooden target backers and steel target stands.

LAND SURVEYING DOWN RANGE

The range will be closed all day on Thursday, May 7  for previously scheduled land /boundry surveying by Survey Inc. personnel.  There will be people working down range as they survey the entire property, even if they are not visible. There will also be large notice posted on the gate.

Next Renewal /new member briefing

*There is only one more scheduled meeting after this one

The next opportunity for member renewal and new member safety & orientation is on the evening of Wednesday, May 6th at 6:30 p.m.

If you did not already send in your renewal/new member forms, please download them from the website and bring the with you, along with payment.

$50 per year single/$75 per year for couples in the same household.

*Club hats and t-shirts will also be available for purchase.

USCCA Basic Handgun Course

Meets State of Maine Concealed Carry Requirements

  207 Firearms Training will be conducting a "USCCA Basic Handgun" Course at our club on

MAY 9 from 9am - 3pm.

COST - $80.00

Student should bring:

Eye protection
Ear protection
Note taking gear
Hat for weather
Close toe shoes (no sandals)
Pistol if they have it (one can be provided if not)
50 rd ammo (can bring more in case we have time) 


If the student requires a loaner pistol and wants to shoot 9mm, they should provide the ammunition. If they are alright with .22lr ammunition it is free of charge. 


Ammunition needs to be left in their vehicle. No live ammo in the training environment. Students should check in their pistol with one of 207 Firearms range safety officers to ensure functionality and safety. 

GATE COMBO CHANGE

 The Gate combo and steel target lock box combinations were changed April 1st. 


If you did not attend the Annual Membership meeting/member renewal briefing, you will not have access until you renew and attend a new year Renewal/Safety Briefing.


The next two scheduled briefings are Wednesday May 7th at 6:30 p.m. and on June 6th at 9 a.m. (work day 7 a.m.).


Both  meetings are for New Members and Renewing members.


annual work/clean up day

 The clubs annual work/cleanup day is scheduled on June 6th from 7 a.m. until finished. (there is also a renewal/new member Safety/Orientation on this date at 9 a.m.

GFRC 75th Anniversary Hats and T-Shirts and regular shirts are still available at the clubhouse, please contact us if interested.

WHEN NEW MEMBER ORIENTATION CLASSES ARE SCHEDULED, YOU WILL BE CONTACTED VIA EMAIL WITH FURTHER INSTRUCTION. THEY  WILL BE SCHEDULED IN APRIL, MAY AND JUNE, WATCH YOUR EMAIL The in person New Member Orientation & Safety Briefing takes about 1.5 hours.

If you're a current member bringing a guest, download the appropriate waiver.  If your guest is younger than 18, be sure to have parent or guardian sign.  Guest waivers also available in the clubhouse.

If you email a question that is answered on this site, you should not expect an email in response.  If you haven't heard back, re-read the directions.  We have been getting too many emails that ask our procedure.  Don't forget to send in a signed waiver as well.  And be sure your email is easy to read on your application.
