Stable cement firing positions under cover on the rifle side of the range.
Solid earthen berms provide a safe backstop for target shooting out to 300 yards on the rifle side, with wooden target backers and steel target stands.

A big THANK YOU to all those members who gave a few hours of time at our annual club work day. There was even a couple of members just joining the same day who lended a hand prior to the New Member Safety and Orientation briefing.
Much work was completed, including, mowing, weed trimming of the firing and lateral berms, firing point roof repairs, target retrieval system repairs, target backer repair and rebuilding, and finally the addition of No Trespassing/No Hunting Firing Range signs aound the entire GFRC property (now that the land surveying is complete and our property lines are properly flagged).
There is still some pending work on closing in the pistol side roof/gable ends and cedar shingling when complete, along with potentially some work on building the firing berms higher, more to come on that.

The next/last scheduled opportunity for member renewal and new member safety & orientation is on the evening of June 6, at 9 a.m. (work day)
If you did not already send in your renewal/new member forms, please download them from the website and bring the with you, along with payment.
$50 per year single/$75 per year for couples in the same household.
*Club hats and t-shirts will also be available for purchase.
The Gate combo and steel target lock box combinations were changed April 1st.
If you did not attend one of the (5) five scheduled member renewal briefings, you will not have access until you renew and attend a new year Renewal/Safety Briefing.
There are currently no remaining scheduled membership renewal meetings.
*New Member Safety & Orientation briefings may be held in the future depending on the amount of interest. Members who did not renew or make any of the meetings, can contact the Board and attend any future New Member meetings, if/when they happen.
GFRC 75th Anniversary Hats and T-Shirts and regular shirts are still available at the clubhouse, please contact us if interested.

WHEN NEW MEMBER ORIENTATION CLASSES ARE SCHEDULED, YOU WILL BE CONTACTED VIA EMAIL WITH FURTHER INSTRUCTION. THEY WILL BE SCHEDULED IN APRIL, MAY AND JUNE, WATCH YOUR EMAIL The in person New Member Orientation & Safety Briefing takes about 1.5 hours.

If you're a current member bringing a guest, download the appropriate waiver. If your guest is younger than 18, be sure to have parent or guardian sign. Guest waivers also available in the clubhouse.
If you email a question that is answered on this site, you should not expect an email in response. If you haven't heard back, re-read the directions. We have been getting too many emails that ask our procedure. Don't forget to send in a signed waiver as well. And be sure your email is easy to read on your application.
